All 'Signs' Point To Pitt

Ok, so perhaps this is just wishful thinking on our part, more than solid news fact, but it sure would be an interesting idea.

Mark Ruffalo has pulled out of M. Night Shyamalan's next project, Signs, so he can recover from ear surgery. At roughly the same time, Warner Bros. announced that the planned Darren Aronofsky/Brad Pitt sci-fi project, The Last Man, has been delayed until next summer while they wait for co-star Cate Blanchett to give birth at the end of the year.

This means that Brad Pitt is looking for Fall work and M. Night Shyamalan just had a last minute opening in his project, slated to begin filming in Ocotober. We've seen 12 Monkeys, Fight Club and Seven, will someone please introduce these two? Talk about a match made in heaven...
